I’m finally able to post the pictures I took from the 2012 Independents’ Day Festival. Lately I’ve been focusing most of my free time on two very different novels—one murder/mystery, the other a children’s book in line with Diary of a Wimpy Kid (which is a brilliant series for all ages that I highly recommend).
I also pump out the occasional short story every now and then. One piece was super close to making it into Asimov’s. On the other hand, my short story Forever Lost was accepted into John Hartness’s The Big Bad Anthology which will be a collection of stories focused on bad guys. I’m pretty pumped, because this one was a lot of fun to write.
For those who don’t already know, you can purchase The Memory Eater on Amazon for only $.99. If you really like it, and want to help us feed our families, then you can always purchase the paperback, which looks really cool on display:)
Anyway, here are the pictures from the festival!
On November 1, 2012, from 6pm to 8pm, Kim and I will be attending Paging Columbus at the Urban Arts Space building in downtown Columbus where we’ll be reading our stories from The Memory Eater. Everyone is welcome, and encouraged, to join us. I’m told there will be coffee, juice and cookies!
